The Bus Stop

This was our first visit to the Bus Stop and it certainly won't be our last! Staying for two nights in Eco Bus 1 was perfect for just the two of us. The tranquil setting amongst the trees and fields just cemented the calm and quiet feelings we experienced our entire stay. All I can say is thank you for the abundance of sunshine and the early morning thunderstorm (that was something quiet spectacular!) Having our own dark skies to enjoy the stars from the comfort of the hot tub was another treat! We took the plunge and enjoyed the sauna and ice bath experience during our stay and I would thoroughly recommend it, the views across the pond from the sauna just make it even more special particularly when the swans and sygents appeared into view grinding across the water. A very warm and friendly welcome from start to finish. A lovely quiet location which helped us to switch off properly and just enjoy our surroundings, particularly from the bird chorus and deers prancing through the fields. A very well thought out layout and facilities - BOB the kitchen bus is brilliant and has been stocked with all the essentials you need to prepare and make camping meals easy. The wee treat of being able to collect fresh eggs from the chicken coop next to BOB was just top notch and delicious. The wee pygmy goats were just a joy to watch at breakfast time and even funnier to feed. The Bus Stop is an excellent example of farm diversification. Our only disappointment was not being able to stay that wee bit longer.

What an experience!!! Highly recommended. The team at the bus stop are attentive, friendly and it's a brilliant environment for kids and adults. The farm tour was great, lovely to hear their family story and how the concept of the Bus Stop was created. Bus was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Hot tub was fantastic with unlimited wood supplied, a really nice touch. If you are looking for something different with lovely walks and farm animals on your doorstep then this is for you. They have thought of everything and we will be back again at some point. Book well in advance as they are getting extremely popular and we can see why.

I have had the pleasure of staying at “the bus stop” a number of times now. Jan 2026 was the first visit to luxury bus 1 - without the kids! Our weekend did not disappoint. The setting is truly stunning. The bus has everything you could need for a relaxing weekend and the addition of the sauna was just perfect. Sandy and the team cannot do enough to make you feel welcome and comfortable. Our bus was cosy for arrival, the log fire burning and the hot tub ready for us. On Saturday we ventured down to the sauna which was amazing! The cutest setting with lovely views. Towels, bathrobes and a great wee changing area. A great place to visit as a couple or as a family. We will be back … time and time again! Thank you for having us.

We had a lovely stay here. Such a beautiful setting. Lots of open space and the kids loved the animals and little play area. The air conditioning unit upstairs was amazing and much needed in July! Everything you could need in a kitchen was also there! ❤️
