What visitors say

Julia Sayers

Will start with positives - the weather was great during our visit and the sea is very close! So great location, if you want to be close to the beach. Mind, the steps down to the beach are cut into the mud, need a rope to navigate, so can only be used by very fit people (no elderly or young, or infirm !). You will enjoy it if you like the smell of weed (drug, not a sea weed, unfortunately !)and constant lawn mowers deafening you - people around own the pitches or rent longterm. But if you came to be on the seaside, it doesn't matter, does it? All you ask is for a pitch so you can be facing the sea. First you will be told you can't book those in advance, it is first come first serve. Fine, you make all the effort to come as early as you can. And still get only third row from the sea. With plenty of pitches empty right on the first row. Then those start filling up with caravans that arrive a day after you did. Why? They book it in advance... Or the owner decided to give those pitches to other people (maybe my face doesn't fit after all). So terrible experience, sorry to say. But great weather and the sea looks wonderful!

If you want to be near the sea it's great. Alot of permanent residents on there. Not fun. Kids not allowed to make noise. The owner said the residents on the site keep the toilets clean? This is not the case, the toilet had no toilet rolls, the condition of them was absolutely disgusting. Spiders and insects everywhere. I do believe once upon a time this would of been an extremely well kept site. But it's gone to waste and the lack of workers is showing the place deteriorating. There is no guard rails on the front on the cliffs with around a 20ft drop to the beach, no pathway lighting. It's just a claim waiting to happen. This place needs a few quid spending in the right areas to bring it back to it's former glory, and as for the maintenance being left to the oldies that live in the static caravans... sadly it shows with the condition of the toilets and showers. Staff are friendly enough.

Lovely sight, loads of toilet blocks a bit out dated but clean. Lovely views. Great if you like walking. But could do with an on sight cafe, and perhaps a kids playground and family bar. As nothing around for miles you will be told to got to the next caravan sight up for entertainment. But you are limited to just using arcades and pub .

This site is a great find beautiful scenery touring spaces are ample enough room Near to the beach you can walk to the pub on next site or cut through and go to socal club or just sit and relax and watch the sea next to your set up The owners are great and best bit is you don't have to rush off on departure day (Good showers free ) Old toilet blocks but kept clean with toilet roll We will definitely return and it will ne our regular go to place for a long time for sure
