About Skipsea Sands Holiday Park
This big, traditional holiday park sits between the Wolds and the coast – perfectly placed for beach days at Bridlington or Hornsea, yet surrounded by tranquil farmland. Pitches are generously sized and private, whether you choose grass or hardstanding, and the site's own fishing lake adds to the countryside feel. Staff consistently earn praise for their friendliness, and facilities are kept impressively clean.
Families can fill their days with an indoor pool, adventure playground, sports hall and ten-pin bowling, plus organised activities from water games to kids' clubs. Evenings bring lively entertainment in the Pavilion clubhouse, and there's a sauna and jacuzzi if you'd rather unwind quietly. The on-site diner covers meals and takeaways, though the Wi-Fi can be patchy if you need to stay connected.
It's a sociable, activity-packed base that works equally well for tourers seeking community and those happy to slip away to the coast.

Spent the weekend in a 2 bed pet friendly gold caravan. The caravan was nice and clean and in a lovely spot towards the back of the site. All but the main bedroom had vinyl flooring so easy to keep clean and everything was in walking distance. Had our own parking and a small bit of grass so we could enjoy staying in the caravan with a puppy. Only one pillow per sleeping spot so I'd recommend bringing a couple of you like more than that. I knocked two stars off because although the resort is marketed as pet friendly no animals are allowed inside the entertainment, restaurants or arcades. You can go in the small beer garden/park and sit outside with the dog and there are bowls of water dotted about and you can sit outside to eat if you want but unfortunately it meant my son couldn't go to soft play like we'd planned and we couldn't take our time in the arcades. We also couldn't use the restaurant because we didn't want to sit amongst smokers whilst we ate. I understand not everyone wants to be near dogs but when you pay £49 pet fee and the resort is advertised as dog friendly you don't expect to then not be able to use most of the amenities. Luckily we just used the caravan as a base and went off to the seasides nearby so we still enjoyed our stay.

Really enjoyed my Friday to Sunday there, excellent location with friendly welcome by receptionist on Friday 3rd, boathouse handled 16 food orders for our large party within 15 mins of ordering food was coming out at steady rate. Anything that was within parks control was fantastic and would rate park dean. Some issues with noise but it is what it is, people coming back drunk at 11pm from watching World Cup deciding to have an argument outside your caravan or the farmer setting off 3 blank rounds of gun shots to scare the birds every 30 mins from early morning is just standard English countryside stuff. Only improvement would be to sort out metal gangway or excavate slope where road has fallen into sea as was under impression online that there was beach access from caravan park, groundsman informed me of route via farmers field and appreciated how friendly all staff were but this was the only downside.

We came to stay for a weekend.. we've been using another company and the difference in cleanliness in the vans is immense I have OCD and I was at ease in this carvan it was very clean and the mattresses are so comfortable. We booked bronze and it felt like a luxury(usually get a silver other places) and this was on par with a silver. Then we came into an emergency which we never do as I'm a planner due to mixed up communication with a family member we ended up thinking we was a day extra then we was. I don't drive and went into the reception for help they helped. A lovely lady and the manager helped us. The cleaner was so polite and helpful also with the mix up and identified the needs of my autistic children straight away. It was nice to have staff be so understanding and helpful in a crisis caused by us. The entertainment was brilliant they have a mega bouncy castle that resembeled bounce parks we've been to and it was very reasonably priced. The kids loved the swimming lovely jets area/hot tub for the adults aswell my boy loved the bubbles. Parks clean and usable. Character krew had a lolvey interaction with my boy who won't usually interact we will be back Also the restaurant staff were really polite and helpful food was really nice quality. We ate in the restaurant 4 times every time we really enjoyed staff were consistent with good customer service food was consistent and was priced fairly and fresh Thank you so much again we would've been stranded without your help! 🙂

Great weeks holiday. Caravan was clean and tidy on arrival. Onsite food was nice. Kids entertainment was great for our 3 year old. He loved it. The troupers were great getting them all involved. He even won a few prizes! He especially liked Charlotte he was still asking for her a few days later so she definitely made an impression on him. She really helped make his holiday so very thankful for that. Already booked to go back
