What visitors say

Due to the hard work put in by Darren and Emma this is one of the best sites we have ever stayed on. The surroundings are fantastic, the pitches are large and level, the facilities are very clean and very user friendly. The fishing is some of the best I have had, from a very well kept pond, the small bait shop is a fantastic idea. We have already booked our next trip, I am certain it will be one of many. Emma and Darren this site is a credit to all your hard work long may it continue. Thanks for a wonderful stay, see you in September Martin & Lynn Barlow

What a little gem of a site. This small campsite is so pretty with a substantial size pond with fishing onsite & bait shacks. The pitches are on hardstanding surrounding the beautiful well kept pond & grounds. Slight road noise but this isn't a problem as the beauty of the place oversees this. Lovely toilet & shower. Nice touches of a microwave, fridge use and able to buy onsite food/ices/ drinks/cakes,etc. Thanks for a lovely stay Emma & Darren, we will return in the Autumn to see the changing colours of the willow trees. Carol & Dave Hoad.

Stayed for 3 nights in our motorhome for this first time here. We loved it so much we have booked again. The pitches are very well spaced out all overlooking the beautiful lake in which you can fish. It’s a lovely relaxing place to stay the whole place is stunning. I could have stayed forever . The owners were very nice and helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. It’s unique to find such a well kept beautiful site. Loved it . Retuning in a few weeks

Stayed from Tuesday 1st June till Friday and was sad to leave. Wonderful pitches I stayed on pitch 1 with my dog large area to set up each pitch is surrounded by trees giving some privacy and a bench provided. Views are lovely overlooking the pond also very good for me was the dog exercise area although I never found anyone else using it I think a possible sign to say please ask if you can enter if in use as not all dogs interact well.. The only negative as a lone traveler with a dog I couldn't use the shower or toilet block as dogs not allowed in I never leave my dog alone so had to do without a shower .
