About Travelodge Hull South Cave
The A63 corridor into Hull passes through South Cave at Beacon Service Area, and it's here that Travelodge Hull South Cave sits, offering a straightforward overnight stop for anyone heading to the city or on towards the East Coast. With 40 rooms across two floors, it's built for convenience rather than occasion, but it covers the essentials well.
Rooms are simple and en-suite, each with a flat-screen TV and drinks-making facilities, and accessible rooms are available on request. Breakfast is served on site, and there's a restaurant nearby for other meals. Wi-Fi is provided, though it's fairly limited, so it suits checking emails more than streaming. Reception operates around the clock, and pets are welcome for those travelling with animals.
Parking is free and on a first-come, first-served basis, which makes this an easy stopover for drivers rather than a destination in its own right. Its position just off the A63 puts Hull within easy reach, along with the East Coast beyond, making it a practical base for a night before continuing the journey.

What guests say
Stayed as a family of 4, first we asked for some extra pillows as the one each we had been given were quite flimsy. Then we noticed there was only 2 working plug sockets in the whole room, 1 being used for television 1 for the fan/kettle next morning. Nowhere else to plug in phones or devices. We had to ask for an extension lead, the young girl in seemed quite friendly and helpful but then the kids went to the vending machine and it wouldn't work, gave them a second card despite knowing the card was not the issue and still wouldn't work! The young lady made a comment as though it's been working fine before they tried and we were not having much luck making us feel like we were the issue! Ended up going over the road to the garage, which is the only nearby place apart from the prison situated behind you. Unlikely to use again.

Absolutely fine as an overnight stopover no frills but comfortable beds. Definitely not a holiday location. Beware some rooms have deep baths with shower over, not great if you have any mobility issues at all.

This is my second stay at this Travelodge, Emma, Rachel and especially Lydia went above and beyond to look after me on my first stay in early March, I cannot praise their customer service skills highly enough. I'm back on business and Mario was welcoming and courteous. The rooms are immaculate, whilst I require overnight stays in this part of the East Ridings, I cannot recommend highly enough and it's all down to the fabulous staff. Many thanks, Martyn
