Bay House
East Riding of Yorkshire
Bay House is a glamping pod on a working farm at the edge of the Yorkshire Wolds, sleeping up to five across one bedroom with two double beds and a single bunk. Couples after a quiet retreat will find it peaceful; families appreciate the space and the countryside setting with walking and cycling routes nearby, while small groups can manage comfortably in the open-plan living area with its kitchenette, sofa and dining space.
The pod is fully insulated and heated year-round. A kitchenette handles basic cooking—fridge, ceramic hob, microwave, kettle and toaster are all there—and you arrive to find tea, coffee and breakfast essentials already in. The living area has a smart TV and Bluetooth speaker; outside, a seating area and brazier give you space to sit. Electricity, Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels are included. One vehicle parks on site in a designated area.
The Wolds themselves are quieter than better-known walking country, with villages and market towns to explore. The coast at Bridlington and Filey is within reach, and York is about twenty minutes by car. A pub sits within a mile. The site is on a working farm, so you'll hear agricultural activity during the day. No smoking in the pod.
