About Bugthorpe Grange Glamping

Bugthorpe Grange Glamping offers four ensuite glamping pods in a quiet spot just outside Stamford Bridge, making it a tidy base for exploring East Yorkshire's market towns and the Wolds. Each pod comes with its own facilities, so there's no midnight dash to a shower block, and WiFi keeps you connected if needed. The site welcomes families and stays open year-round, though it's worth noting that pets aren't allowed — something to bear in mind if you usually travel with a four-legged companion. The high ratings suggest guests appreciate the straightforward, well-kept setup, and the location puts York and the coast within easy striking distance for day trips.

Recommended here by a friend. Met by Sue on arrival. Gracious lady who seems to care greatly about her lodgers having a good time. Spent time talking to us about the locality and what we could do. Accommodation was great. Even though there were 5 of us, it never felt cramped. And the outside space is perfect for the kids and evening activities. Kids wanted to say their best bits: Myla - the campfire and toasting marshmallows Ellis - loved the campfire and the bottom bunk that was super comfy Jesse - the hamper basket We'll definitely be back.

We have had a lovely time staying here for the past 3 nights! What a beautiful peaceful little place! The pod was perfect and the 5 of us fitted in comfortably, we even managed to all get dressed up and ready for a wedding. Such a lovely, clean and cosy little pod with nice homely touches! We really enjoyed the arrival hamper and cosy nights by the fire pit. They really have thought of everything here. The kids loved seeing the horses and hares running around too! We will definitely be back and recommend to friends! The McDermid Family - Glasgow

The set up at Bugthorpe grange is simple yet so effective and one of our go to places to relax. As someone that struggles to relax and switch off this place helps my mental health so much, and can’t recommend enough. The pods are very well maintained and you’d think they were brand new. The surrounding areas are well kept and plenty of grassy areas for the children to run around and let off some steam. The decking outside the pods can be a good little sun trap. We visited in April and had some great weather. The owners are so helpful and provide a great welcome hamper upon arrival. This is our 3rd time visiting and will certainly be returning
