Eldon Cottage

Eldon Cottage is a traditional brick-built house arranged over two floors, a short walk from Hornsea beach. It sleeps six across three bedrooms—a double and a kingsize on the first floor, plus two singles downstairs—with two bathrooms between them. The ground floor also contains the main living spaces: a sitting room with an open fire, a separate dining room that opens onto the garden, and a kitchen equipped for proper cooking. One bedroom and a shower room are also at ground level, making this layout practical for mixed-age groups or anyone avoiding stairs.

The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine, so you can manage a week's self-catering without constraint. Essentials like electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are covered in the price; the first load of firewood is included too. The rear garden is enclosed and furnished with seating and a gas barbecue. One dog stays free, and there is private parking for four vehicles on site. Smoking is not permitted inside.

Hornsea is a working coastal town with a traditional seafront rather than a resort feel. The beach itself is within walking distance, and the car park at Morrow Avenue is nearby for longer explorations of the East Riding.
