Fitling Cottage is a single-storey barn conversion on a quiet country estate near the Holderness coast. Everything is on the ground floor: you walk into a living room warmed by a wood burner, with a separate dining room and kitchen beyond. The bedroom has a king-size bed, and the bathroom offers both a bath and separate shower cubicle. Ramp access is available, and there is private parking for two cars on site.

The kitchen is equipped for proper cooking rather than holiday shortcuts—electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave and fridge-freezer are all here. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and electricity are included. One dog stays free, and there are walking and cycling trails through the surrounding countryside. The east Yorkshire coast is within easy reach; Mappleton Sands beach lies three miles away, and Hornsea with its museum and shopping centre is nearby. Note that the property is non-smoking.
