We were booked in for a night's pitch after picking up our new motorhome at a dealership 20 minutes' drive away, as an opportunity to test out the van before driving it home, and as it was a free courtesy I had no idea what to expect. The pitch we were given backed onto a lovely pond with a family of geese and goslings enjoying the evening sun, a short walk from the (clean) washrooms. The owner met us and was very helpful, suggesting a few places to eat locally, but we settled for a delivered take-away for our first meal. Thr site was really quiet and it was such a relaxing way to start our road trip home.

We are so excited having just picked up our new motor home today. Couldn’t have picked a better place to have our first night.It has everything you need and more. A great place for weddings, parties and other events. Alan and Debbie are both welcoming and friendly. We feel like we have come to visit friends having just met them. We couldn’t have asked for better hosts Thank you both so much- we will be back!

Just spent a lovely and relaxing weekend at Spring Valley with my wife, adult daughter and doggies, staying in the Stables cottage conversion. We found the Stables comfortable, homely and clean and very much intend to stay there again over the coming months. The site was small and compact but peaceful and scenic. Just the kind of thing place we like. We loved the fact that there were lots of birds, geese, turkey and ducks wandering about the site and swimming on the fishing pond, and even had a nest of baby swifts just near the entrance to the door. The parents were very patient with us being there and were fun to watch while discretely sitting in the car. We had a concrete patio which, with careful parking of the car and the use of the outside tables and chairs, we managed to create a safe area where we could sit outside with the dogs and enjoy a glass of wine (or two). The staff were very friendly and informative and everyone we met while we were seemed very nice. Highly recommended.
