Horseshoe Cottage
East Riding of Yorkshire
View on Google MapsNordham is a quiet village on the edge of North Cave, within reach of historic Beverley. Horseshoe Cottage sits here as a substantial property, recently refurbished to combine older character with up-to-date living. The ground floor holds two sitting rooms (one with a smart TV and electric woodburner, the other with a gas fire), a spacious kitchen and dining area opening onto the garden, and a bathroom with bath and shower. Upstairs are four bedrooms—two kingsize and two with single beds—plus two further bathrooms. One of the kingsize rooms has its own staircase, useful for families wanting separate sleeping floors.
The kitchen is equipped for real cooking: electric hob, range, dishwasher, microwave and all the usual appliances. Heating, electricity, Wi-Fi and towels come as standard. Outside, a gravelled courtyard garden has solid furniture for eight and sun loungers; the space is fenced, and an enclosed grass field nearby suits ball games or picnics. Private parking for two cars is on site. One small dog is welcome. A pub sits within a mile of the property, and there is no smoking inside the cottage.
