Horseshoe Cottage
East Riding of Yorkshire
View on Google MapsHorseshoe Cottage is a traditional stone building in Kilham, on the edge of the Yorkshire Wolds and within reach of the Flamborough coastline. The cottage has genuine age and character—original brickwork and exposed beams run through the main rooms—but the essentials for modern living are all here: heating, Wi-Fi, electricity and bed linen included. One dog is welcome.
Downstairs, the living room has a smart TV and Netflix; the kitchen/dining space is equipped with an oven, gas hob, microwave, air fryer and dishwasher, so you can cook anything from breakfast to a full meal. An enclosed garden opens off the back, furnished for sitting out, and here you'll find the property's real draw: a wood-fired hot tub for two, private to the cottage. Upstairs, one king-size bedroom and a bathroom with both bath and walk-in shower. The stairs are uneven—worth noting if you have mobility concerns—and the garden pathway is shared access.
The setting works well for couples exploring the coast and countryside on foot or by bike; there's bike storage on site. Check-in is after 3pm, check-out before 10am. No smoking.
