The Cottage

The beach is a ten-minute drive from this four-bedroom cottage in Kilham, and the Yorkshire Wolds stretch out around it. WoldTech is nearby if you need it. The village itself has a pub within walking distance, and the cottage sits opposite the church. One dog is welcome to stay at no extra cost.

Inside, there are four bedrooms sleeping 11 people in total: one with a super kingsize that converts to twin beds plus a day bed; another with a super kingsize; a third with a kingsize; and a fourth with a double and bunks. Two bathrooms serve the house—one shower room downstairs and one upstairs with both bath and shower. The kitchen has electric cooking and a dishwasher. A wood burner heats the living and dining rooms. Wi-Fi, bed linen, towels and initial fuel for the stove are all included.

The back garden is substantial, with a private hot tub for four, a games room containing table tennis and darts, and lawn space for activities. Garden furniture and a barbecue are provided. There is private parking for two cars and a bike store. A travel cot, highchair and stairgate are available if needed. The property is Grade II listed with original character throughout—exposed beams, stone floors and brickwork—though guests should know there is a step in the garden. No smoking inside.
