Metlands Farm Holidays- The Dairy
East Riding of Yorkshire
Photo: Google Maps
The Dairy is a converted agricultural building with exposed flint walls and vaulted ceilings, offering a stay in the heart of East Riding farmland near Bempton. Everything is on the ground floor: an open-plan living area centred on a wood-burning stove, a fully fitted kitchen, one double bedroom, and a shower room. French doors open onto a private patio where a two-person hot tub sits ready to use, looking out across the fields.
The kitchen is equipped for proper cooking, with an electric oven, hob, dishwasher, microwave and slow cooker. Electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wifi are included, along with initial fuel for the stove and a welcome pack. There is parking for one car on site, plus an electric vehicle charging point and a shared bike store. One small dog can stay free of charge. Smoking is not permitted.
RSPB Bempton Cliffs lies less than two miles away, where coastal paths offer birdwatching and views across the sea. The village itself has a pub and a shop. The Flamborough Heritage Coastline is a short drive further, with walking routes and access to a seal colony. This is quiet countryside rather than a tourist hotspot, suitable for those wanting to explore the coast on foot or by bike.
