Couples and solo travellers will find The Stables a peaceful base on a working farm in Bempton. This ground-floor converted stable sleeps two and comes as a whole property to yourself, with one well-behaved dog welcome at no extra charge. The single bedroom has a double bed, there's a shower room, and the open-plan living space centres on a wood-burning stove with a fully fitted kitchen where you can prepare proper meals. Wi-Fi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included, along with initial fuel for the stove and a welcome pack.

The real draw is outdoors: a private patio with garden furniture and a wood-fired hot tub for two. The setting overlooks open countryside, and you're positioned to explore the Yorkshire coast without staying in a busier town. RSPB Bempton Cliffs lies a short drive away, drawing birdwatchers to its seabird colonies and clifftop walks. Flamborough's heritage coastline and local seal colony are nearby, and the village of Bempton has a pub and shop. There's parking for one car on site, plus an electric vehicle charging point and a bike store if you want to explore further afield. Note that there is a step into the garden.
