Station House is a fully equipped two-bedroom conversion housed in a Grade II listed former station master's house, positioned yards from Hornsea's sandy beach. The entire property sits on the ground floor, with two steps to the entrance. Everything you need for a self-catering stay is provided: gas central heating and electricity are included, as are bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi. The kitchen has an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge-freezer and washing machine, so you can prepare meals or do laundry as needed. One bedroom has a double bed, the other bunk beds; there's a sofa bed in the living room that can take an extra guest. The shower room has a shower and toilet.
The living room includes a 32-inch Freeview TV and DVD player, with another television in the master bedroom. An enclosed courtyard with garden furniture and barbecue opens onto private parking for one car. One well-behaved pet stays free. Wi-Fi is available throughout, and a travel cot and highchair can be provided on request.
Hornsea Mere—Yorkshire's largest natural freshwater lake—lies a short walk away, alongside the town centre's shops, restaurants and museums. The beach promenade with its cafés is close by. A leisure centre with heated indoor pool and gym sits within a few hundred yards. The Trans Pennine Way passes through town, offering cycling and walking routes into open countryside. No smoking is permitted in the property.
