The Stables

East Riding of Yorkshire

Rudston sits between Driffield and Bridlington in the Yorkshire Wolds, a village where bridle paths connect to miles of walking and cycling routes. The Stables is a converted barn here, brick-built with a pantile roof, designed entirely on the ground floor. It's the kind of place where you can step straight from the bedroom onto a private patio, or ease into the hot tub for two while listening to owls.

The single bedroom has a king-size bed and direct access outside. The living room, decorated in deeper tones, centres on a Smart TV; the kitchen has an electric oven and hob, breakfast bar and proper work surfaces for cooking or assembling a picnic. There's a walk-in shower, and an enclosed courtyard with a wood burner. Electricity, wi-fi, bed linen and towels are included. Parking for two cars is private, and there's a bike store. One dog stays free.

The property suits two people after peace and quiet, or somewhere to base countryside exploration. The village pub is within reach, and the minster town of Beverley not far beyond. No smoking indoors.
