Families and groups of six will find The Weaning Shed works well for a self-catering break. The cottage sits on the Yorkshire Wolds, with three bedrooms—two doubles and one single, plus a pull-out single—and a single bathroom upstairs. Downstairs you have a living and dining room with a wood-burning stove, and a kitchen with electric oven, induction hob, dishwasher and washing machine, so cooking and cleaning are straightforward. One dog stays free; a travel cot and highchair are available if needed.
The property is yours alone, with parking for four cars on site and an enclosed quarter-acre garden sloping down to a patio. An external games room with a dartboard and multi-use table sits nearby. The essentials—heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi—are covered, and logs for the stove come included. A tumble dryer is in the garage.
From here, walking and cycling through the surrounding countryside is straightforward; the village pub is within reach on foot. York and the coast are both under thirty minutes away by car. Burnby Hall Gardens, Burton Agnes Hall and Sledmere House are among the larger attractions nearby.

Lovely cosy cottage in a lovely location . We stayed over Christmas and it was decorated brilliantly. They went to a lot of trouble to make it a really special Christmas stay. Very dog friendly. Would highly recommend.
