About Greenwick Farm
Tucked into 470 acres of working farmland in the Yorkshire Wolds, Greenwick Farm offers a pair of swish eco-pods – each with ensuite facilities, kitchenware and outdoor seating – that make an ideal base for exploring York's historic streets or the rolling Wolds countryside beyond. Birdwatchers are particularly well served: buzzards and the occasional red kite circle overhead, while woodpeckers, pheasants and partridges forage in the farm garden. The site even maintains an owl box that's hosted a brood of tawny owls for years.
Friendly hosts Fran and the team share generous local knowledge, from the best walking and cycling routes to their own favourite dishes at the nearby Wolds Inn. It's a tiny, peaceful spot that punches well above its weight for wildlife encounters and genuine Wolds hospitality.

What visitors say
This B & B is a gem. The accommodation is certainly five star. We received a friendly welcome from Fran. The rooms are outstanding. They are clean, very comfortable and well stocked with tea, coffee and biscuits. The breakfast menu is wide ranging and well presented. We will make every effort to return.

Stayed in one of the two glamping cabins at this lovely working farm and B&B. This was a step up from the usual camping pods where you have to take all your own bedding and furniture as these cabins were fitted out with two comfy single beds, a full shower room and toilet, and small kitchen area (composing of toaster, kettle, fridge and microwave). The decking area to the front featured a small picnic bench and the outside of the cabin had porch lighting. The place was clean and tidy and there was good communication from the hosts regarding getting into the premises. Car parking spaces were just a few yards away form the hut so we didn't have to carry our gear very far. All in all a great little place to stay if you prefer a self-catering camping -style experience over a traditional B&B room but with a little bit of extra luxury and no need to walk to communal shower and toilet blocks. Really peaceful setting for a relaxing few nights and all at a very good price.

Very peaceful place. Our room was large and decorated very well, with a large bathtub. Views stunning. We felt very well looked after, the owner came to pick us up as we were walking and gave us a lift back to the route the next day. Also we got a lift to and from the local pub for food which was much appreciated. Breakfast was fantastic, with a good selection in a nice dining room.

Beautiful and tranquil place to stay, perfect for relaxing after a long day on the wolds way. Complete with much appreciated large bath tub and home cooked food! Fran could not do enough for us.
