Woodland Lodge is a seven-bedroom property on 1.3 acres near Goole, designed to accommodate up to 14 guests across separate spaces. Five bedrooms have kingsize beds, one a super kingsize, and one holds twin singles; most are en-suite with walk-in showers and heated towel rails. Two further bedrooms sit in a detached annexe within the grounds, one with a bath in the room. Each has its own shower room and toilet.
The main house centres on a kitchen fitted with two electric ovens, two hobs, a dishwasher and wine cooler—practical for feeding a crowd. A woodburner warms the living room, and a veranda running three sides of the property creates multiple outdoor areas for entertaining, with a patio heater and firepit. A hot tub seats ten. Parking fits ten cars. Essentials including electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wi-fi are covered; so are logs for the woodburner and charcoal for the BBQ. No smoking throughout.
The enclosed back garden combines lawn, terrace and seating areas. This works equally well for group holidays, family gatherings or small events. Goole lies in the flat countryside of East Yorkshire, inland from the Humber.

We absolutely loved our stay at Woodland Lodge for New Year. A fabulous space for a big group and has everything you need! Also surrounded by gorgeous countryside for walks. Ian was brilliant with communication in the lead up and during our stay, very accommodating and welcoming. Thank you so much - we will definitely be back!

A fantastic house with exceptional furnishings. Not many places can impress everyone from 17 year olds to 80+ but Woodlands Lodge does. The hosts were fantastic from the beginning, with excellent recommendations and advice.

What a beautiful place!! Everything is really high quality and there's everything you could possibly need. The attention to detail is amazing! Me and my friends had a great girls weekend here for my hen do. None of us wanted to leave!!

Woodland Lodge, what an amazing place!! Date of visit: 24th and 25th December 2019 Age range: 20 – 74 People 10 Every room has the wow factor; all the bedrooms have en suite facilities with towels, robes and slippers supplied. There are three log burners, two inside and one outside all with logs, kindling and fire lighters supplied. The kitchen is extremely well equipped, two ovens, two full height fridges and one full height freezer, two hobs, one microwave and two dishwashers. In the utility room there is a dryer and washing machine and even an ice maker. There is also a vast amount of cooking utensils, crockery, knives, forks etc and glasses. The outside patio has a seating area with sheepskin rugs, cushions and snuggling throws. There is also a large table for eating food made in the pizza oven or the barbeque. The bar area has loads of plastic glasses to use in and around the Jacuzzi, the Jacuzzi is heated to 39 degrees and looks over the countryside where we saw deer and pheasants. There is ample parking with an electrically controlled gate for security. The host Ian met us on arrival with a lovely glass of chilled champagne and a homemade cake which we all enjoyed. Ian gave us an extensive tour of the property and explained how to use the Sonos sound system which can play music in the kitchen, dining room, lounge and patio area. You can have different songs in each area with different levels of volume. Ian has thought of everything and can’t recommend Woodland Lodge enough so whoever books next will have a fantastic time. But don’t try and book for Christmas 2020 because we’ve already booked it!!
