Yelt Cottage sits in Wootton, a small hamlet on the edge of the Peak District. The location puts you within easy reach of Dovedale's famous stepping stones, Tissington and Manifold Valley trails, and Carsington Water. Alton Towers is a ten-minute drive away. A pub lies within a mile, and Ashbourne's shops and restaurants are nearby for when you want to venture further afield.
The cottage is a converted barn offering one double bedroom upstairs—note the sloped ceiling in the gables—with a ground floor that combines kitchen and dining space, a sitting room with a wood-effect electric fire and French windows, and a shower room. The kitchen has an electric hob, combi microwave and oven, fridge and freezer. There's a small garden with seating where you can sit with morning coffee. Parking for one car is on site, and you have the whole place to yourself.
Essentials are included: heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi. The cottage is for holiday lets only and is non-smoking. A car is recommended given the hamlet's quiet, rural setting.
