What visitors say
My son and daughter-in-law had their wedding here, the owners are amazing, nothing is too much trouble, the unique pods are beautiful and quirky. The campers had the option of electric hook up, and lots of room. Shower block and toilets always clean tiddy and never ran out of loo roll. This is an amazing place and well worth visiting.

Wonderful place in the most amazing location. The views are fantastic, especially the sunsets! The owners are really lovely people and there are some fantastic and unique amenities on site. Really love the barn social space with all of it's quirky features.

Where do we even begin? We booked Mount Pleasant Farm for 3 nights / 4 days over our wedding on the 24th of March - and it was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we knew we’d found somewhere truly special. The setting itself is breathtaking: beautifully curated, bursting with charm, and somehow designed perfectly for everyone. The kids were in heaven with vintage rides, tractors, and the friendliest animals (special shout-out to Eddie with the Big Heady - the absolute king of cats). Our campers were thrilled with the proper amenities (hot showers, a kitchen, and electricity), while those in the glamping huts couldn’t get over the fireplaces and fairy-tale feel of their stays. But as beautiful as the place is, what makes Mount Pleasant Farm truly extraordinary are Emily and Bill. Not only are they the coolest humans we’ve ever met, but Emily was our biggest cheerleader from the very start. She completely embraced our vision and brought it to life with a level of generosity, warmth and enthusiasm that still blows us away. From offering up quirky treasures (including a pig trough that we filled to the brim with beer!) to grabbing essentials for us during shop runs, to literally ferrying guests around when things got chaotic - Emily went SO far above and beyond. No idea was ever too out-there: we had a BBQ, a pizza party, a karaoke bar - you name it, we did it, and she made it all feel easy and celebrated. This isn’t just a place to stay - it’s a place to celebrate, to make memories, to feel completely at ease and looked after. It honestly pains us to leave such a glowing review because we kind of want to keep this hidden gem to ourselves. But its magic is too good not to share. We’ll be back. For every event, party, or excuse we can find. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
