Thorpeness Country Club sits on the Suffolk coast between Aldeburgh and Southwold, two towns known for their charm and seaside character. The club's grounds contain 1 Bell Lodge, a terraced house that sleeps up to seven and offers a private base for families or groups wanting to explore the area. The beach is just fifty yards away; the village shop, pub and restaurant are six hundred yards on foot.
Inside, the house spreads across three storeys. Downstairs holds two bedrooms—one with a double bed, one with two singles and a sofa bed—plus a family bathroom with a bath and shower. Upstairs, a living and dining room opens via French doors to a balcony overlooking the country club's tennis courts and gardens, and a kitchen equipped to cook proper meals. A third floor contains children's bunks and another sofa bed. Parking for two cars comes with the property. The essentials—heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi—are included.
Aldeburgh, two miles away, has independent shops, galleries and a summer theatre alongside the expected seaside attractions. Southwold's pier, shops and the Adnams brewery are within a short drive. The property is non-smoking throughout.
