Beach View is a single-storey chalet a few minutes' walk from the shoreline in Leiston, East Suffolk. The layout keeps everything on ground level: three bedrooms (a double, a three-quarter double, and bunk beds), one shower room, plus an open living and dining space with French doors onto lawned grounds. A kitchen is fitted with electric cooker, microwave, fridge-freezer and washing machine. Electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included; heating comes from electric radiators. You have private parking for one car, with communal spaces opposite.
The accommodation suits families or groups of six. The sitting area looks towards the sea through large windows, and you can step straight out to the grassed grounds—shared with other properties on the campsite—where garden furniture is provided. The beach is accessible directly from the chalet. Non-smoking only. Leiston itself has pubs, cafés and local shops within walking distance. One dog is welcome to stay with you.

Excellent first caravanning experience at this site. Easy to get to. We were met by Julie and Pete who were extremely welcoming and even helped us set up our new Awning for the first time. Nice size pitches and right by the sea. While close to Sizewell Power station, the set up of the site meant that this was not an issue at all and did not take away from our experience. 3km along coastal path to Thorpeness and a further 3km to Aldeburgh- both great places to visit and eat out. Will definitely visit again

What a great site, we had a very warm welcome from Pete & this site felt really friendly. The pitches were roomy & the site was extremely clean including the shower blocks which were pristine. Unfortunately our little dog was poorly & Julie was fantastic, finding us an emergency vet & checking when we returned to make sure everything was OK. The site is in a great position within walking distance to the beach with a site bar overlooking the sea, a pub & a restaurant.. Such a great friendly site & we will definately return.

Had a wonderful weekend here in one of the camping pods, which was fantastic. Pod was spotless, with one double and two single beds. Great position on the site for the pods, really good access to a brilliantly maintained toilet/shower block. The warden team on site were so friendly, couldn’t do enough for you. Waking up to a sunrise over the beach and birdsong was bliss, as was having such easy access to the beach for long walks and sea air. Can highly recommend Pete’s Pizzas, along with a very decently priced club house for a pint to go with the freshly made pizzas. Cracking trip, would 100% come back.

We stayed here over the Easter bank holiday weekend. The site is spaciously laid out, not crammed in, and it’s quiet and clean. The showers are immaculate and warm, we didn’t have any issues with hot water. There is a cafe which overlooks the sea. Wood fired pizza available which we had one a few nights. Extremely close to the beach with great walks to be had. I was worried initially about it being so close to Sizewell power stations and all the building work with the new one, but it didn’t affect us at all. Really close by to a lot of towns to visit too. We had a issue when we stayed there , where the wheel of our car fell off when we were visiting Thorpeness, and we had to be recovered back home by a truck, but the wardens were very kind and friendly throughout our stay and reassured it was fine that we weren’t going to be out by the 11am check out time. Thank you so much for being kind and so friendly. I would def recommend this site.
