Cranleigh

Cranleigh is a single-storey property sleeping four, set a mile from the coast near Lowestoft. Everything happens at ground level: two double bedrooms, a shower room, and an open-plan kitchen and living area. The kitchen has an electric cooker, microwave, fridge and washing machine, so you can cook properly or keep things simple. A Smart TV and heating mean you can be comfortable whatever the weather brings.

Out back, there's an enclosed south-facing garden with patio and furniture—the kind of space where an afternoon disappears easily. On-site parking takes three cars. One pet stays free. Towels, bed linen, electricity and Wi-Fi are all included; bring nothing but yourselves. The place doesn't allow smoking.

Within walking distance are a pub and restaurant. Pakefield beach is close by, and Lowestoft town centre offers the usual seaside amusements. Southwold, the Norfolk Broads, RSPB Minsmere and Snape Maltings are all within reach for a day out, making this a practical base for a week or two on the Suffolk coast.
