Ivy Rose Cottage is a traditional brick cottage in a quiet corner of East Suffolk, built on a human scale with the kind of solid character that comes from age. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms serve four guests, with the ground floor arranged around a living room, separate dining room, and a kitchen fitted for actual cooking—electric oven and hob, fridge, washing machine. The shower room downstairs has a walk-in shower; upstairs, the second bathroom is a cubicle shower. Bedding, towels, Wi-Fi and heating are included; one well-behaved pet stays free.

Upstairs, the main bedroom holds a double and a single bed, while the second bedroom is a double. Both rooms are furnished for comfort rather than luxury. Outside, a back garden with furniture and a barbecue offers space to sit. Parking is on road, a short walk away.

A gastro pub lies within a mile. The setting suits families or small groups wanting countryside quiet without isolation, and dog owners particularly. No smoking indoors.
