Saxmundham sits on Suffolk's coast, close enough to Aldeburgh that the beach and town centre are a short walk away. The area draws visitors for its cultural events—the music festival, poetry gatherings, film screenings—and for the quieter appeal of coastal walks along the River Alde. Fresh fish arrives daily at the beach huts when weather allows.
Saxmundham House is a detached bungalow with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, sleeping four. The ground floor has a living room with a woodburner, and a kitchen/dining space with an electric oven, hob, dishwasher, microwave and fridge-freezer; bi-folding doors open onto the garden. Upstairs are a king-size bed and a double bed, each with its own shower room. An enclosed garden with seating areas and furniture provides outdoor space. Parking for three cars is on site. Electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included, along with initial fuel for the woodburner. No smoking inside.
