The Lantern Loft

Families and groups of six will find The Lantern Loft works well for a shared holiday. The apartment sits on Walberswick's village green, within walking distance of the beach and harbour, and a pub is less than a mile away. It occupies a listed building but has been fitted out for modern living, with an open-plan ground floor that brings the kitchen, dining and living spaces together—useful when cooking for everyone or when people want to spread out across three storeys.

Upstairs are the three bedrooms: a king on the first floor with an en-suite bath and shower, a double on the second floor, and two singles also on the second floor. A separate shower room serves the upper bedrooms. The living area has a woodburner and smart TV; the kitchen is equipped for proper cooking with an electric oven, hob, dishwasher and microwave. A small roof terrace opens off the first floor. Essentials like wi-fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are included, along with a washing machine and tumble dryer. A parking permit covers two cars nearby, with drop-off at the door. Travel cots, highchairs and stairgates are available if needed. Smoking is not permitted inside.
