About The Gathering
The Gathering is a tiny glamping site in the Derbyshire Peak District, just outside Edale. With only a handful of pitches, it is a small operation focused on a straightforward offering: a proper facilities block with showers and bath, plus barbecue facilities for guests to use on site. There is also ice pack freezing available for cool boxes.
The location sits in terrain suited to walkers, climbers and mountain bikers, with those activities available nearby. Dogs are welcome year-round. A pub, shop and public transport are all within reach, and there is a dog walk nearby. What visitors say
Just returned from The gathering where our yoga teacher held a beautiful yoga retreat. The whole place is amazing, beautiful setting and the facilities were equally great. I really hope I get to revisit this place with friends or even another retreat. Thank you to the staff for being so friendly and went out of there way to help us enjoy our stay 🙏

This place is absolute magic! Have been multiple times for different events and celebrations, my birthday included. The hospitality is impeccable, the beauty and comfort are unrivaled. Truly the most charming, thoughtful, and welcoming place I've been and cannot wait to return. Thank you for everything!

Amazing camping huts. Had a great weekend here and the hosts are really helpful. Great base for walks in the Peaks and really close to the pub.

This is our second time staying with Edale Gathering. One year ago we stayed in their cottage, and really enjoyed it. This year we came back and stayed at their glamping tents. It was the most comfortable glamping experience ever. The beds are soft, the tent is clean, we had hot water and they provided everything we need. Lesley was very helpful in answering all the questions we had and providing all the information we needed to know before arrival. Also, it is really great that it is dog friendly. The location is great - it is within walking distance from Edale train station for those that are travelling by train. It is also within walking distance from The Old Nag pub so which makes the walk back after a few drinks very easy. It is conveniently located for hiking up Kinder and Mam Tor, without having to drive. We’re already planning our next trip back.
