What visitors say
We have just stayed for 7 nights at Drummohr. We stayed on pitch B2, which was fabulous as it was kind of like our own little green island with no direct neighbours. Access to the site was very easy, just off the A1, and arrival was very easy too, even accommodating us for an extra night. During the week the site was quiet but filled up on the weekend. That said, even with almost every pitch occupied the site was still beautifully quiet and everyone was very respectful of the peace and tranquility. The staff on site were extremely polite, helpful and welcoming. The facilities were excellent, the toilet block was always beautifully clean (although I never actually saw it being cleaned - ninjas!). (A long mirror in the ladies toilet block would be a great addition?) The whole site is very well kept and we enjoyed a stroll on the dog walk. The site is well placed to get to local points of interest and the staff were very helpful with recommendations of places to go. All in all it was a fantastic stay and we would definitely come again. Thank you so much.

August 2026 - Fantastic place to stay! We stayed in lodge 1 which was the lothian lodge with hot tub. The facilities were immaculate, and the service from the staff getting us settled in were great. The guest information was perfect and wifi was strong. The lodge itself has cooking facilities, but also a washing machine and ironing board/iron, which was handy as we travelled from England. The hot tub was great, spacious and was checked daily by staff to ensure the PH level was just right. The campsite itself is compact, but beautifully presented. There is a small park for kids right in the centre and also a nice dog walk trail inside the perimeter. The site is located close to Prestonpans, which is ideal for local shops/supermarkets. You are within a short drive to many of the local attractions, and the beaches and coastal walks are stunning. Overall a fantastic holiday, thank you to Drumhor lodges!

We’ve stayed here 3 times now, the first time was my first ever time in Scotland. The amenities are amazing, the staff are super friendly and the atmosphere is awesome. I honestly told my partner, the showers are better than the one in our house. Every time we plan a holiday back in Scotland, it is always our go-to place to book. Could not recommend this place more, if I could rate it more than 5 stars I would.

Lovely place to stay! we stayed in a self catering bothie. The campsite itself is so nice and very quiet, the shower block and toilets are very clean and kept to a good standard. The location is perfect if you are going to Edinburgh just a 10 minute drive to a train station and a 5 minute train. Close to a few villages with plenty amenities! Will definitely be back to stay ❤️
