About The Devon Hotel
Sixty rooms and an indoor swimming pool put The Devon Hotel a cut above a standard city stopover, and it sits at Matford on the edge of Exeter with free on-site parking, which makes it a genuinely easy base for drivers heading into Devon.
Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms and air conditioning, and there are accessible rooms available alongside standard ones. Guests get free WiFi throughout, room service, and the option of a packed lunch for days out. The hotel's own restaurant and bar cover meals and drinks on site, breakfast is served each morning, and there's a gym for anyone keen to keep up a routine while travelling. A garden and outdoor seating area add space to relax outside, while a lift serves the upper floors.
Beyond leisure, the hotel has meeting rooms and business services for work trips, plus a wedding venue for those planning an event. Locally there's a golf course, watersports, and a choice of pubs and restaurants nearby, with entertainment options also close at hand for evenings out.
