About Travelodge Falkirk
Falkirk sits just off the M9, within easy reach of The Kelpies, and Travelodge Falkirk makes a practical base for visiting them or for passing through on business. The hotel is set at West Beancross Farm, close to junction 5, with free parking right at the front of the building.
The 52 rooms are simple and en-suite, each with a kettle and toiletries provided, and there are accessible rooms available across the three floors. Breakfast is served on site, and pets are welcome. Beyond the hotel, a pub, restaurant and other eateries are all nearby, along with a golf course for those with time to spare.
Staff are consistently described as helpful and quick to sort out any issues, and the rooms themselves are kept clean and comfortable at a reasonable price. The car park, while spacious, has been noted as occasionally left a little untidy. For a straightforward overnight stop near the motorway and Falkirk's main attraction, it does the job well.

What guests say
An average Travel Lodge. Staff were friendly and efficient. Ample parking, convenient for motorway access. Room wasn't too bad, but did have issues, as many places do - I had a ground floor room at the front (Room 001). Hot weather, no air conditioning, window only opens an inch or two. Cars parked pretty much up to the room's outside wall, which meant very early or vary late arrivals/departures disturbed sleep. Sound proofing seemed OK between rooms, but noise from room above came through, and especially noise outside room door, in corridor. Kettle, coffee sachets and tea bags, with a mug and kettle, with UHT milk meant you could have a drink. No where to hang/dry your towel. Bathroom cleaner than average. Shower pressure and temperature varies quite a bit at 'popular/common' times (late in the evening was fine). Would I stay again? Yes, with a non-front facing upper room.

The reception staff at the Falkirk Travelodge were really helpful and greeted me straight away, getting me into my room very quickly. The room itself was very clean and well-priced, featuring a comfortable double bed, a good shower with toiletries provided, a kettle, and hanging space for clothes. The TV wasn't a smart TV, but i had a Fire Stick plugged into it which was cool for streaming. The only real downside was the breakfast, which comes in a takeaway box and isn't great, but it’s still a start to the day. Overall, a clean and very reasonably priced stay.

I recently stayed at this Travelodge and unfortunately the experience was disappointing from the moment I arrived. The staff member on reception (a male wearing his own jacket and a baseball cap) came across as quite unprofessional. He appeared to be in the middle of eating when I arrived, still chewing while serving me, and his interaction was limited to short, one-word responses. It felt like I had disturbed him rather than being welcomed as a guest. There was also a strong smell of cannabis coming from behind the desk area whether from him or another unseen staff member, it created a very poor first impression. Also, when he was asked for more milk, he picked up a large box of milk cartons from behind the counter, slammed it on the counter and walked off! I had no issues with the room itself. The outside of the hotel didn’t improve things. The car park was untidy, with visible rubbish and broken fencing, which gave the whole place a neglected feel. Around the main entrance, there appeared to be long-term residents congregating and chain smoking, which made the environment feel uncomfortable and uninviting. Overall, this stay fell well below expectations in terms of cleanliness, professionalism, and general atmosphere. I wouldn’t choose to stay here again.
