About Restronguet Barton
Restronguet Barton is a working farm on the shore of Restronguet Creek, a quiet tidal inlet off the Fal Estuary a few miles north of Falmouth. The touring pitches form a small Caravan and Motorhome Club certificated location limited to a handful of units at a time, giving the whole site a settled, low-key character rather than a commercial holiday park feel. Several pitches look directly out over the tidal creek – a genuinely peaceful spot for watching wading birds and the occasional working boat glide past.
As a certificated location, facilities are kept minimal by design: there's no toilet or shower block, but each pitch has electric hook-up, fresh water, chemical waste point and recycling. What it lacks in amenities it makes up for in setting and tranquillity. Dogs are welcome throughout, and the site opens from spring through to late October, suiting self-sufficient campers and caravanners who want a quiet, waterside pitch rather than on-site shops or showers. Falmouth's town, beaches and harbour are a short drive away for supplies and days out.

I photographed a wedding at Restronguet Barton recently and really enjoyed working there. The views across the water and surrounding countryside are beautiful, and there are plenty of outdoor spaces around the venue that work well for photos. The venue felt relaxed and well organised throughout the day.

We stayed one night 15 April 2023, what a gem of a site, peaceful, stunning views, beautiful coastline walk along Fal Estery to the Pandora Pub, perferct sunny warm day. The farm owners very helpful with places to walk, friendly greetings and lovely to chat to. We will defo be staying again. we even had our first bbq for the year in the evening.
