Hollybank is a stone-built Victorian cottage on the ground floor of a period property in the quiet village of Ladybank. The kitchen is comprehensively fitted with an electric oven, induction hob, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine, making it straightforward to self-cater for a couple. The bedroom contains a kingsize bed, and the ensuite has a bath with shower over. A separate toilet sits along the hallway. The living room opens onto a sun room, and beyond that a private patio garden. Electricity, bed linen and towels are included; wifi is available. Pets stay free.
Ladybank itself has a pub within walking distance, along with a cafe and local shops. The railway station offers regular connections to Edinburgh, Dundee and Perth. The village sits at the heart of the Howe of Fife, with Falkland and the Lomond Hills nearby, and it makes a practical base for reaching St Andrews, the Fife Coast and its string of fishing villages. A small collection of local guidebooks and walking route maps is on hand. The cottage does not permit smoking.
