The Roondie
Fife
The Roondie is a converted horse mill, circular in form and Grade B listed, on a small holding in Fife. Everything you need for a stay is provided: bed linen, towels, wi-fi, and electricity are all included, along with initial fuel for the woodburner. The single open-plan space flows around the building's curve, with full-height windows and a cupola flooding it with light. A modern kitchen sits alongside a dining table and comfortable living area, while the bedroom is tucked behind a partition made from natural materials. There is one shower room with a walk-in shower.
The property is set up for couples wanting a self-contained base. Parking for two cars sits on site, and an enclosed front garden with patio and furniture offers outdoor space. The location sits roughly 30 minutes' drive from St Andrews and the Fife coast. No smoking is permitted. The access track has speed bumps, so vehicles with very low clearance may struggle.
