Lucklaw Steading Cottage is a private wing of converted farm buildings, accessed by a steep gravel drive and set within two acres of grounds. Everything is on the ground floor: an open-plan living space with a window seat looking out over farmland toward St Andrews Bay and the Eden Estuary, a kitchen with both an Aga and electric cooker, and a dining table. Bedroom one has a king bed; bedroom two has two single beds that zip together. There is one bathroom with a bath and shower cubicle.
The kitchen is fully fitted for self-catering, with a dishwasher, microwave, fridge-freezer and breakfast area. Electricity, wi-fi, bed linen and towels are included. A utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer is shared with the owners. The cottage has its own sitting-out area with garden furniture, parking for two cars, and a bike store. One well-behaved pet can stay free of charge.
The two-acre grounds are largely natural and shared with the owners, with woodland and open space to explore on foot. The cottage suits couples and families. Smoking is not permitted indoors. Check-in is after 16:00 and check-out before 10:00.
