The wood burner is the first thing you'll want to light when you arrive at Neuk Hoose, a terraced cottage tucked into the heart of Anstruther. Set over three floors, this Grade II listed building sits less than half a mile from the harbour and sandy beach, with the Fife Coastal Path running through the village—ideal if you're planning to walk in either direction towards quieter coves and fishing villages. Pubs and restaurants are within minutes on foot.
Downstairs, the kitchen and dining space has everything needed for cooking proper meals: electric oven, hob, dishwasher, microwave and fridge-freezer. The first floor holds a kingsize bedroom and a living room centred around that wood burner, with logs provided to start with. The second floor contains two single bedrooms and a bathroom with bath and shower. The cottage sleeps four and accepts one well-behaved pet. Electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are all included.
St Andrews lies 9 miles away if you want a day out for shopping and golf courses. The Millennium Cycle Way and surrounding quiet roads make this a good base for exploring central Fife's countryside and historic sites. No smoking inside.

Neuk Hoose is a little piece of heaven! We enjoyed our second stay at this fabulous home. Crail festival was on, the place had a lovely buzz about it. Love visiting this stunning coast! Look forward to returning soon.

A beautiful rental right on the main route through Crail. Very easy to get to, beautiful accommodations, an easy walk to the Harbour and the Fife Coastal path. We have really enjoyed our time here!

Have recently returned from a weekend break at Neuk House and thoroughly enjoyed it. The house was perfect for our needs and made the stay very comfortable and enjoyable. I loved the homely touches throughout the house and everything you needed for a short stay was provided. The milk and delicious cherry cake was much appreciated. Highly recommended.

I stayed for 6 days in the beautiful Neuk Hoose. Everything was exactly as I expected and as the photos showed. It does have three floors and if one is not used to going up and down , or has trouble with staircases , then maybe not optimal, but I had absolutely no problem with that . Very cozy , clean , perfect location . Excellent start point for walking along the Fife Coastal Path. The town is beautiful . Overall I had a wonderful experience and would go back any day.
