St Andrews deserves more than a golf pilgrimage. The medieval town sits on the coast with a long sandy beach, castle ruins to explore, and a cathedral that's been here since the 1100s. Climb the tower at the Church of St Regulus for views across the town and sea. The cobbled streets hold independent shops and restaurants worth finding. Rivendale puts you five minutes' drive from all of it, yet far enough away that the 100 acres of landscaped grounds and woodland walks feel properly removed from things.

This is a ground-floor lodge sleeping four: a kingsize bedroom with ensuite, a twin room, and a sofa bed in the living space if you need flexibility. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking proper meals. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi come as standard. The hot tub fits four people and is yours alone; there's also a sauna, steam room and gym shared with other properties on the estate. Two parking spaces come with the property. No smoking inside.
