Tall Ship

Tall Ship is a three-storey townhouse in Anstruther, a fishing village in Fife with the coast less than a mile away. The ground floor holds the main living space: a combined kitchen, dining and living area with a woodburner, plus a bedroom with ensuite shower and a family bathroom with both bath and shower. The first floor contains two further bedrooms—one double and one twin—while the top floor has a third double bedroom. The whole property sleeps six.

Inside, stained glass windows and a window seat with views over the harbour give the place distinctive character. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering, with oven, hob, dishwasher and washing machine. From the upper floors, you look out towards the Isle of May and across the Firth of Forth. The bedrooms face towards Billow Ness beach, which sits within the 117-mile Fife Coastal Path. Electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included. Parking is not available directly outside, but free spaces are a short walk away. No smoking throughout. One dog is welcome.

Anstruther has restaurants ranging from the well-known fish bar to fine dining, plus shops and a working harbour. At low tide, stepping stones connect the house to the esplanade. Billow Ness itself is used for walking, wildlife watching and swimming.
