About Haven Blue Dolphin Holiday Park Yorkshire

Haven Blue Dolphin Holiday Park suits families after a self-catering break with plenty to keep children busy without leaving the site. The caravans offer good space for the price, with a kitchen for cooking your own meals, though standards of upkeep can vary from one to the next, so it is worth flagging any issues with reception early on.

On-site facilities run to indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a water slide, a games room, and organised entertainment throughout the stay. For food there is a restaurant, bar and snack bar, all rated reasonable value by those who have eaten there, and staff are generally described as friendly and quick to help. Pets are welcome, and free parking is provided on-site.

The park sits near Filey on the North Yorkshire coast, with fishing, cycling and walking routes close by, along with pubs and restaurants nearby for evenings off-site. It also makes a convenient base for exploring the surrounding coastal towns.

Our stay at 12 Elm Rise was absolutely wonderful. The holiday home was spotless, beautifully presented, and incredibly comfortable. The beds were luxurious, dressed in crisp white sheets and duvets, and the bathrooms were exceptionally clean. The open-plan kitchen, dining, and lounge area was modern, spacious, and truly stunning. It was the perfect getaway for my family, providing a relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere throughout our stay. The only small downside was the lack of WiFi, as our child enjoys playing games on his VR headset. Thankfully, we had an unlimited data SIM card, so it didn't affect our holiday too much and everyone still had a fantastic time. The staff were incredibly warm, welcoming, and always smiling, which made the experience even more special. We were so impressed that we hope, God willing, to own a holiday home here one day ourselves. Thank you for such a memorable stay. Keep up the excellent work we can't wait to return!

We have just returned from a 4 night stay here and it was very nice, the only thing that disappointed it slightly was the overall cleanliness of the caravan. It didn't bother us too much as we didn't spend a huge amount of time there and they did have a hoover to use if needed. The location of the park is great with lots of things to do nearby. The food choices were also good albeit a bit expensive. The entertainment was good, my baby enjoyed it. There wasn't a huge amount for my baby to do but it was still enjoyable. There were no recycling bins that we could see at the park which was a shame. We paid roughly £400 for the 4 night stay in a gold caravan, I have seen the prices almost double for the same over summer. I will admit I'd be a bit disappointed paying twice as much.

Our holiday fell on a week with bad weather but that didn't stop us having a fantastic time. Caravan was clean and well maintained, staff were lovely and helpful (especially one lady in the Spa shop who was ever so kind to my daughter). Facilities were well maintained, park was clean and the kids LOVED the soft play. The guys in the tiger club were fantastic and full of energy, the bar staff are quick and friendly. Although you are not right next to the beach there is a great bus service and good parking in Filey (only 8mins away).

It was our first time staying here and we stayed here from the 10th-13th July and to be honest, I was abit nervous after seeing some bad reviews. We had the best time ever specially our 4yr. The caravan we stayed in was clean and tidy and very spacious. Yes the food and drinks were expensive but I didnt expect anything else, we actually ate at the restaurant a number of times and enjoyed every meal. My daughter enjoyed all the activities we booked mainly the build the bear and the sand creation. The site is massive and we enjoyed the walk around. The parks, entertainment, swimming pool, the arcade and others where nice and clean and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The shop on site has everything you need and more. We will definitely be booking again.
