Maple 8

Maple 8 is a ground-floor lodge on Blue Dolphin Holiday Park, equipped for guests who want everything to hand. The kitchen has a gas cooker, induction hob, dishwasher and microwave; the living area includes a smart TV and electric fire; heating, linen, towels and wi-fi are all provided. You get two bedrooms—one with a double bed and ensuite shower, one with two single beds—plus a second shower room, so six guests can spread out without queuing.

The lodge opens onto an enclosed decking area with garden furniture. The wider park has a leisure centre with an indoor heated swimming pool, plus a bar, restaurant and crazy golf. Parking for two cars is on-site, and there's an electric car charging point. No smoking throughout.

Filey Bay's golden sands are a short walk away. The property suits families and groups after a break by the coast, though note there are steps down to the back garden.
