About The Griffin Inn
Ashdown Forest lies within easy reach of Fletching, making The Griffin Inn a useful base for walkers keen to explore the woodland and heathland the area is known for, before returning to a proper pub dinner and a pint by the bar. The village pub next door and other local eateries mean there's no shortage of places to eat if you fancy a change of scene.
The Griffin Inn itself is a traditional inn with en-suite rooms, including family rooms for those travelling with children, and drinks can be brought straight to your room. Breakfast is served each morning, and the restaurant and bar on site cover dinner and a relaxed evening drink without needing to venture out. Free WiFi runs throughout, and a garden gives guests somewhere to sit outside.
Practical touches are covered too, with 24 hour reception, luggage storage for early arrivals or late departures, and free on-site parking for anyone driving down. Pets are welcome, so the trip to Ashdown Forest can include the whole family.
