Honeypot Cottage

Walk through the gate into Honeypot Cottage and you're in one generous open-plan space: living area with a sofa bed and smart TV, dining zone, and a kitchen fitted with an electric oven, hob, dishwasher and microwave. Beyond that, a bedroom with a double bed and an ensuite shower room. Everything is on the ground floor. The sofa bed means four people can sleep here, though those using it will share the ensuite. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and heating are all included, plus a welcome pack when you arrive.

The cottage sits within a working vineyard on a 10-acre estate in rural East Sussex, near Fletching and close to Ashdown Forest. You have access to a tennis court directly outside, space to park three cars, and a bike store. The setting is genuinely quiet—though note there's an unfenced lake 20 metres away, and the cottage is reached by footpath only. A lawned garden with furniture looks out over the vineyard.

Nearby attractions are substantial. Sheffield Park and Gardens and the Bluebell Railway are less than ten minutes by car; Piltdown golf course is similarly close. Fletching village, with its 12th-century church, shop, café and the Griffin Inn, is a country walk away across fields from the bottom of the vineyard. No smoking inside. One pet can stay free of charge.
