Rivendell

Rivendell is a detached bungalow where everything unfolds on a single level—living room with an open fire and Freeview TV flowing into the dining kitchen, three bedrooms, and a bathroom all arranged for easy movement around the property. The largest bedroom is a double; the other two are singles, one of which has twin beds. A utility room houses the washing machine, and there's a separate toilet outside.

The kitchen has what you need to cook properly: electric cooker, dishwasher, microwave, fridge-freezer. Heating, electricity, bed linen and towels come as standard, along with the initial fuel for the fire. One dog is welcome at no extra cost. The enclosed front garden includes a patio, garden furniture and a barbecue, with a summerhouse available from May onwards (it closes through winter). Steps and a sloping grass path lead down to a lower lawn and orchard area. Parking for two cars sits on the drive, and there's a bike store. No smoking throughout.

The property sits where the Forest of Dean meets views across the Severn Estuary toward the Cotswolds. From the garden you can walk straight into the forest itself. The surrounding area offers mountain biking trails, fishing, horse riding, canoeing and rock climbing, along with attractions like Go Ape and Puzzlewood nearby.
