The Old Farmhouse is a detached property on a working sheep farm at the Forest of Dean's edge, set up for eight people across four bedrooms and two bathrooms. Downstairs there's a living and dining room with Freeview and DVD, a kitchen with electric cooker, dishwasher and microwave for proper cooking, a utility room with washing machine, and two bedrooms—one with a double bed, one with single beds. Upstairs, a further double bedroom and a fourth bedroom with single beds complete the layout, alongside a second bathroom. Electricity, bed linen and towels come as standard.
The garden is enclosed with sitting-out furniture and a barbecue, and there's parking for two cars on site. A travel cot is available. The pub and shop are within a short walk; the pub is 200 yards away and the shop 300 yards. Smoking is not permitted.
The setting puts you within reach of the forest's walking and cycling trails, rock climbing at Symonds Yat, canoeing and fishing on the River Wye, and cave exploration at Clearwell. Hereford and Gloucester are nearby for cathedral cities, and numerous castles dot the area. One dog is welcome.
