The Annexe at the 1910 house
Forest of Dean
The Annexe at the 1910 house stands on the owner's grounds in Parkend, on the eastern edge of the Forest of Dean. This is a ground-floor space designed for two people, combining bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and living area in one open-plan layout. A double bed, shower cubicle, electric hob, microwave and fridge make up the essentials; the living area has a TV with Freesat. Wifi and heating are included, along with bed linen and towels.
Out the back is a private patio with garden furniture and a chiminea—useful for evenings. Parking for one car is on site. The Forest of Dean itself offers extensive walking and cycling, plus access to Symonds Yat, Puzzlewood and Clearwell Caves. Tintern Abbey, the Dean Heritage Centre and the local railway museum are nearby, and Ross-on-Wye, Monmouth, Gloucester and Hereford are all within reach by car. Smoking is not permitted.
