I have always enjoyed coming to Vue Cinema Camberley, and whenever a new Malayalam or Indian movie is released, this is the first cinema I check. Unfortunately, I am constantly disappointed because they rarely screen Malayalam or other Indian films. There is a large Indian community living in Camberley and across Surrey, including many families and hundreds of students at the University of Surrey. This year, even more students from Kerala and other parts of India have arrived, and many of us are looking for a good cinema nearby to enjoy the latest releases from Kerala and India. For many students, watching movies is one of the few ways to relax after balancing university studies and part-time jobs. It is our main form of entertainment. However, when several excellent Malayalam and Indian films are released, Vue Camberley usually screens only one—or none at all. This means we have to travel much farther to watch the movies we love. I hope Vue Camberley listens to its customers and starts showing more Malayalam and Indian films. There is clearly a strong audience in this area, and I believe these screenings would be well supported. I would love to continue choosing Vue as my local cinema, but the lack of Indian movie screenings has been very disappointing.

Tickets are well priced and the seats are comfortable enough. However, the main downside was the portion size of the snacks compared to the prices charged—it felt quite poor value for money. Compared to places like Odeon Cinemas, it comes across as a bit of a rip-off. It seems like the lower ticket prices are offset by higher margins on snacks, which takes away from the overall experience.

What appeared to be an excellent movie spoiled by the blaring speakers, that were seemingly at maximum volume. This was for the 19:15 showing of Marty Supreme. There were only five couples at the screening and another couple we spoke to agreed and had come equipped with noise cancelling ear buds. !! Ridiculous.

We moved here a year ago and we have been going to the cinema a lot. We always have a great experience! We have been to pretty much every screen and they are all great. The staff is friendly and the toilets always clean.
