About Longbeech Campsite
Tucked away near Fritham in the New Forest, Longbeech Campsite is a back-to-basics retreat for campers who value peace and space over creature comforts. The adult-only policy keeps things tranquil, and with 95 non-electric grass pitches spread across a natural, wooded setting, there's plenty of room to find your own shady corner. Dogs are warmly welcomed, and the campsite opens directly onto walking and cycling trails that thread through the forest.
Facilities are deliberately minimal—no showers, no toilets, no Wi-Fi—so you'll need to be self-sufficient, but drinking water and WC disposal points are provided. Staff are friendly and helpful, and pricing is reasonable given the New Forest location. It's an honest, no-frills spot that suits campers who relish simplicity and don't mind trading mod cons for birdsong and acres of space.

What visitors say
First visit to Longbeech last weekend for a quick one night stay. My wife and I we're looking for a peaceful get away and that was exactly what we got. Arrival was processed efficiently by Gavin, who was polite and friendly giving us all the info that we needed. Once we found a pitch (you pretty much choose anywhere you fancy) and finished setting up, we were able to relax away from the hustle and bustle of the world. Everything was easy and clean at Longbeech, which then led to a perfect overnight getaway. It was exactly what we wanted and is highly recommended by us. We will definitely return.

Exactly what it says on the tin, camping in the forest off grid and it's awesome. Lovely scenery and lots of wildlife, it's so quiet you can actually switch off and chill out. Some great forest walks, there's even a great pub 20 mins away.

Longbeach is a great site to stay at, quiet, peaceful and friendly. This is my 4th year here. The wardens Gavin and Peter are top guys, welcoming and friendly always busy keeping the site in top shape. The best thing is myself and my very old Jack Russell Terrier have made some amazing and great friends here, the beauty of being in the forest with the animals, friendly wardens and great like minded people/friends is every thing you need in life. I guess we all find our happy place in life and ours is here, at Longbeach best shared with friends..
