We have just enjoyed 2 nights staying at Tanglewood Field in our Campervan. This back to basics campsite has a lovely feel to it and some views across the local countryside to die for. Dark skies are great for stargazing and you're right next to the woods for spotting wildlife and birds. Whilst only 20 minutes from home we switched off as soon as we arrived and really enjoyed our stay. It was great to be able to enjoy a fire pit and as an added bonus, the owners are lovely! If you are looking for a small, back to basics, simple campsite with all the New Forest has to offer on it's door step, check this out ! We will be back.

Location was beautiful, lovely walks and places to visit close to the campsite. Relaxed campsite which makes for a nice environment. Easy check in. Unfortunately field advertised was fenced off and not available. Only a small area was available for guests. One shower, one toilet and a portaloo. Nowhere to dispose of rubbish or wash up which we feel is a necessity when camping as a family.

This is a lovely quiet campsite in an idyllic location in the new forrest. We were very well looked after during our stay and the shower and toilet were cleaned daily. A lovely pub within a short walk, and you can explore the forrest on the opposite side of the road. Perfect for a peaceful getaway, I will definitely return soon.

This campsite has a view thats very impressive. Has a pub that is 5 mins walk( the lamb) we had food and drinks there which was amazing.. campsite has a toilet a shower, plenty of room and the owners were very friendly .. must return again 🥰
