Family-run farm campsite for tents and small campervans on the edge of Frome
About Pitchperfect Camping
Pitchperfect Camping sits in a quiet corner of farmland near Woolverton, a few miles from Frome on the Somerset-Wiltshire border. This small, family-run site is built around generous grass pitches—each roughly ten metres square—giving tents and small campervans plenty of breathing room. Reviewers consistently praise the warm welcome, spotless facilities and relaxed atmosphere, though a handful note that the site can feel a little basic for those expecting resort-style amenities.
Each pitch comes with its own fire pit, and the farm shop sells free-range eggs, homegrown veg and firewood for evening campfires. A central play area keeps younger children entertained, while roaming chickens add to the working-farm charm. Two wooden cabins offer a glamping alternative for up to six guests and a dog.
The location strikes a useful balance: close enough to Frome, Bath and Longleat for day trips, yet quiet enough in the evenings to enjoy open skies and the crackle of a fire.

What visitors say
Just what a normal modern low key campsite should be. Simple but clean. Friendly and helpful owners/staff. Showers where your clothes etc don't get wet. Plenty of open space.
